We worked with artist Laura Hajar to produce her public art project commissioned by the City of Austin's Art in Public Places program. The artist was embedded in the city's EMS department for 2 years capturing the life and work of the medics. We were brought in to design, fabricate, and install the artwork on 3 newly constructed EMS stations. The resulting system integrated a custom, programmable LED lighting system into the structural attachment points, yielding a very minimal appearance while offering easy access to the electronics.
